The Researcher
Thinking about a lot of things lately, from Operation Valkyrie to the first supermodel, Gia Carangi, to whatever happened to Madonna's dancers from her brilliant documentary Truth or Dare. I actually found a photo of Valkyrie conspirator Friedrich Karl Klausing, and 2 new articles on him (he is my favorite research "wild goose chase."). I've learned a lot about the life and times of the great Gia, and she's my newest reason for the red ribbon on my coat. Another new reason is Gabriel Trupin, who also died of complications from AIDS. He was one of Madonna's dancers on the Blond Ambition tour. The other dancers all appear in a new documentary, Strike A Pose, which I am dying to see. Well, that's what I've been doing.
